Changes to the monochrome icon

I than BunsenLabs user of Japan, tint2 icon has received a report that has changed to monochrome.
Is this has changed the default icon to match the RC2 release of BunsenLab?

Perhaps this regard, will this information is relevant:

Re: Changes to the monochrome icon

Yes, the launcher icons are all grey now, and the browser icon is different. We thought this all looked better.

-edit- This change happened at least a couple of weeks ago, sorry for catching you by surprise!

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

Re: Changes to the monochrome icon

Thanks hhh. smile

Because I have to add this work manually, I was not aware of the change.

Changes in /etc/skel/ are tough because configs have to be manually overridden and you'll lose your customizations if you're not careful (or don't care :cool: )

Anyway, to overwrite your configs with the new defaults, delete ~/.config/bunsen/bl-setup and logout.

Re: Changes to the monochrome icon

Since I have already added a hand to the setting of tint2, and does not care about this. big_smile

However, the Japan user had to say that want to return to the color icon.

launcher_icon_asb = 100 0 0

This can it will be good?

Re: Changes to the monochrome icon

Hi baloon smile

Unfortunately, returning to the previous coloured browser icon is not so simple. The icon file itself has been changed, not just its treatment by tint2.
The icon is defined in /usr/share/applications/bl-www-browser.desktop

[Desktop Entry]
Version=1.0
Type=Application
Name=X Web Browser
Comment=Invoke x-www-browser
GenericName=Web Browser
Exec=x-www-browser %u
Icon=applications-internet
Terminal=false
Categories=Network;WebBrowser;
MimeType=text/html;text/xml;application/xhtml+xml;application/xml;application/rss+xml;application/rdf+xml;

The applications-internet icon is provided by the current version of bunsen-faenza-icon-theme, and is grey.

The previous icon was web-browser, which is coloured in the default icon theme.
