Install from Live environment possible yet?

I know that it wasn't possible with crunchbang, but has it been implemented? I want to have FDE and all the tutorials I can find online require working in the live environment before/after installation.

Thanks.

Re: Install from Live environment possible yet?

In short, no.

However, you can use debootstrap(8) to install a very basic Debian system onto partitions mounted to the live filesystem then chroot in and run johnraff's installation script.

See https://wiki.debian.org/Debootstrap & https://github.com/BunsenLabs/bunsen-netinstall
