[SOLVED] Dependency problems can't be fixed

Hello, I've just install BunsenLabs and I really love how looks and saves resources, as my laptop's pretty weak. However, when I tried to install .deb packages like skype or any other .deb files, I got the dependency error messages.

Using dpkg:

dpkg: error processing package skype (--install):
 dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Processing triggers for dbus (1.8.20-0+deb8u1) ...
Processing triggers for desktop-file-utils (0.22-1) ...
Processing triggers for mime-support (3.58) ...
Processing triggers for hicolor-icon-theme (0.13-1) ...
Errors were encountered while processing:
 skype

As usual, I ran:

 sudo dpkg --configure -a

then I got this:

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of skype:
 skype depends on libc6 (>= 2.3.6-6~).
 skype depends on libc6 (>= 2.7).
 skype depends on libgcc1 (>= 1:4.1.1).
 skype depends on libqt4-dbus (>= 4:4.5.3).
 skype depends on libqt4-network (>= 4:4.8.0).
 skype depends on libqt4-xml (>= 4:4.5.3).
 skype depends on libqtcore4 (>= 4:4.7.0~beta1).
 skype depends on libqtgui4 (>= 4:4.8.0).
 skype depends on libqtwebkit4 (>= 2.1.0~2011week13).
 skype depends on libstdc++6 (>= 4.2.1).
 skype depends on libx11-6.
 skype depends on libxext6.
 skype depends on libxss1.
 skype depends on libxv1.
 skype depends on libssl1.0.0.
 skype depends on libpulse0.
 skype depends on libasound2-plugins.

dpkg: error processing package skype (--configure):
 dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:
 skype

Then I tried running this:

 sudo apt-get install -f

But things didn't change.

Then I tried to install with

 gdebi

and got this:

This package is uninstallable
Dependency is not satisfiable: libc6 (>= 2.3.6-6~)

I've searched around all night but nothing helped.

Please help me if you've ever encountered this. I really want to fix the problem and stick with BL. I'm using Hydrogen rc1 adm64.

This is my source.list file, I left it unchanged because I added 2 repositories following this instruction here https://pkg.bunsenlabs.org/

#

# deb cdrom:[Debian GNU/Linux 8 _Jessie_ - Official Snapshot amd64 LIVE/INSTALL Binary 20150909-03:19]/ jessie contrib main non-free

https://wiki.debian.org/skype#Frequentl … ie_64_bits

If it still doesn't install after running those commands, post your /etc/apt/sources.list file.

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

It looks to me like your sources.list is all messed up. A quick search of these forums should bring one that we have posted up. I would post one for you but this machine is tracking Debian Sid.

Thanks guys, it worked for skype, I added all debian repositories and follow the steps, now I'll try installing the others.
