Need help setting up a dsl connection. Error message:

(1) Creating object for path '/org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/ActiveConnection/7' failed in libnm-glib.

I'm connected to the Ethernet network and I went through the process of adding a DSL connection, but when I try to connect I receive the message above. This is my first hydrogen live-usb boot-up. Wi-fi is working fine.
