Given how much this differs across Sweden I think there is not one German way. Northern and southern Germany are widely known to be very different culturally. I have been told the same is true for both Italy and France.

Re: AI discussions

^ Thanks for the input. I'm sorry for having mentioned it, let's not derail the AI thread with human behavior. big_smile

To bring it on topic, AI is getting trained by data from all countries and cultures. Is it all being homogenized into a US-centric bot or is it getting regionalized?

Re: AI discussions

I have little faith in containment or the future - call me a doomsayer.
AI bot swarms are now infiltrating areas thought to be secure, and even leaving instructions for other bots should they somehow become disabled.
I pity any organization who is or has placed confidence in cloud migrations in recent years - be it PAAS, IAAS or SAAS.  I feel that any/all sensitive information placed into the cloud will become fair game and may be compromised in the coming years.  Add quantum cryptographic deciphering, and it's gonna be a whole new ballgame.
We're in for a rollercoaster ride, that's for sure.

Re: AI discussions

Just in the last couple of weeks there's been a major wave of break-ins to big companies' servers here inJapan - theft of personal user data, distribution systems disabled... and the word is there's no reason to expect it to decrease. No proof yet that AI is being used in these attacks, but it certainly makes it easier for lower-grade hackers - writing attack vehicles are firing them off at superhuman speed.

Was it yesterday that 500 supermarkets in France had to throw away all their frozen and chilled produce because a web intruder set their fridges to defrost mode?
