EndeavourOS was sluggish for some reason. Switched to CachyOS
EOS is a bloated Arch, Cachy is an Arch on steroids. ![]()

^imgur.com is pretty fast
Imgur's pretty good all round IMO, and used to be the BL default, but it can't be accessed in the UK any more. That might apply to some other companies too. It's part of the liability thing that @cog mentioned. In the future it might be impossible for anyone except the big players to run image upload services at all. ![]()

I think I might have to unsub from this topic if everyone is going to be using Pixhost from now on
One solution is Brave browser. Replace left-click on link/image with right-click > Open link...with Tor and it should work. You will have two browser windows instead of one.
On sites like imgur you can also right-click > Block elements to remove all the cruft.

Fluxbox on Devuan 6 (excalibur)
Normally using fluxbox' native toolbar only, but I've lately added tint2 panel - and morphed an MX toggle-script to swiftly change between the two.
Currently running an updated medit 1.4.1 version. This fork is based on gtk3 (no python2 dependency anymore), with all useful medit features like line-sorting, including a terminal pane etc. Sofar I'm pleased with its performance.
Check out https://github.com/abbat/medit/tree/main for more details and install instructions

medit_1.4.1-1_all.deb
Does not like my Debian 13.
$ sudo apt install /media/10/DEBs/medit_1.4.1-1_all.deb
[sudo] password for sector11:
Note, selecting 'medit' instead of '/media/10/DEBs/medit_1.4.1-1_all.deb'

I have been playing with Omarchy as well.

^^^ @Sector11 : instead of grabbing the medit_1.4.1 package directly, select the 'Add repository and install manually' option. This will give you instructions for adding the medit-gtk3 repository and relevant gpg-key.
Below is a print-out of the commands for debian13 install:
echo 'deb http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/antonbatenev:/medit/Debian_13/ /' | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/home:antonbatenev:medit.list
curl -fsSL https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:antonbatenev:medit/Debian_13/Release.key | gpg --dearmor | sudo tee /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/home_antonbatenev_medit.gpg > /dev/null
sudo apt update
sudo apt install meditYou can of course disable the source and key after install, but I guess it makes sense to keep it active for a while in order to get further updates for this gtk3 version.

@ ceeslans
I saw that. I am hesitant to add an outside repo that from what I read in your post it will add another repo just for medit-gtk3. I'll pass it was a nice thought though medit is an old friend. I'm getting use to mousepad now.

After the packages in the openSUSE repositories had been causing errors during upgrades for three days, I decided to go back to my old, trusted, stable BunsenLabs. Simply the best as Tina Turner once sang.
