It must be done periodically, in honor of the late, great @gutterslob, who has been reborn. This album shall be posted.

^ American Beauty, nice. SPAC back to back in 85/86 was epic, but the best I ever heard Jerry play was 91 at the Miami Arena, after his coma. A sick guitar mix, the thing was crackling.
And now some dub.

Holy hell, Lil Wayne meets Musical Youth. If it didn't dub so hard at the end it would be comical.
Tag removed, let's see if the link still works. -edit- Of course it does.
youtu dot be? How long has it been like that?

If people would know how little brain is ruling the world, they would die of fear.

Pete Townshend, from Empty Glass (1980), his first so album of original material.

Empty Glass...

Remember what I said earlier about Pete's constant juxtaposition of contrast, hard and soft, a very classical music approach.
This album did terribly in the charts, Let My Love Open the Door hit #9, and that was it. Underrated, I think. Maybe Pete is an acquired taste. Maybe he's overrated. Definitely not Elton John levels of overrated, that dude is the champ.

^ What the hell am I hedging my bets for? Pete Townshend is one of the greatest artists ever, my favorite singer/guitarist (Joni Mitchell number 2).

One more where Pete sings with The Who, However Much I Booze

Without Roger Daltrey, The Who is one of the best Power Trios of all time. I suspect there are several bands like that. Last 20 years of Red Hot Chili Peppers comes to mind.

Trying to think 3 and 4 of singer/songwriter, I never thought about it. Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder? Thom Yorke and Bjork? Me, because I rhymed Yorke with Bjork and now The Swedish Chef is extra happy, byork byork?
In your face, Eminem. Orange... Storage. (damn, that's not bad, totally good enough for music)
I'm storing oranges and making porridges, sorry Goldilocks your bed was one of the splurges, Mama and Papa Bear said you were incorrigible, a dirigible, Led Zep but expendable, The Hindenburg, spankable, igniteable and highly flammable Oh The Humanity! Hands off my peepee! Get your own Mini Me, create your own Philosophy in your own time, mine is the vague orange rhyme!

David Bowie - V-2 Schneider (from Heroes, part of his electronic period).

I bought the album in 1977 so not long after it came out, and yet I've only just learned this week from Youtube that the track is a tribute to Florian Schneider of Kraftwerk. Surprising what you learn on the Internet.

I played "Best Of Family" a lot one summer, and this track was on it. Great band.

Amelia Coburn. One of the new generation of female British folk singer songwriters with an impossibly pure voice and a look that wouldn't be out of place in any late 60s London folk club
