Installation hangs installing carbon-1-260211-amd64.hybrid.iso

Trying to install on an ASUS laptop I5 16g ram.

After configuring the wifi the screen shows dhcpv6 then the next screen states configuring network and the install hangs. Someone suggested bypassing the wifi portion of the wifi/networking but I don't see how to get around the install script. The only options are always next or back.

Should I install the previous version?
Any help is appreciated

Keep hitting "back", or just start the installation all over again - this is in the early stages after all.
Now attach a line network and do the installation without wifi at all.
It shouldn't be hard to enable it afterwards.

^ It's been awhile for me, but with the Debian installer you should be able to skip network connections, and then you'll have to skip updating apt, then boot into the new system when the installation is done and use Network Manager to connect, then update sources.

The future arrived. Read the terms and conditions.

I always have to turn off ip6 for the installer and that is with a cable, not wifi.
It happens with BL and Lilidog but not with stock Debian.

I seem to recall having to turn off ip6 is usually a router issue, but shouldn't be a problem anyway.

I have a thin laptop, there is no ethernet port, only USB and HDMI.  My current screen is pure white, there's "configuring the network" written in the upper left corner of the screen.  There are no button icons to click in the lower right corner of the screen. So no back button.  Hitting backspace repeatedly does nothing.

You might want to invest an a USB-Ethernet adapter?
