Only $500,000 US to create Hell Grind - mostly computer costs. Similar live action feature normally costs around $75 million US.

Yep it's only a matter of time before AI moves into the mainstream for movie-making whether for the whole film or just certain aspects such as special effects. These films  while not quite perfect, seem to be a proof of concept for AI use in filmmaking.

Godzilla Minus One cost $10-15 million to make, and saved marketing costs by doing press releases tied to a viral online campaign. It made $116 million at the box office alone.

Top Gun: Maverick cost $177 million just to film, I don't know how much they spent on marketing, but it made freaking $1.5 billion worldwide before it even hit streaming. I'm just pointing out that a well made film with compelling characters can still make money, no matter the budget.

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

One can hope this will enable smart people to do great visual stories and skip the various approval traps, skip the cash flow entirely. Do all this 'girls' look like Scarlett Johansson a little bit?
