Is anyone running bunsenlabs on a convertible?
I am using a Lenovo X1 Carbon Yoga and it doesn't seem to pickup the alignment when I use it in portrait (tablet) or tent mode and autorotate accordingly.
Touchscreen works as expected. I have tried adding a few other packages suggested by search results but they either aren't in apt or work as expected.
It has worked on other distros so I think it isn't a hardware problem.

Not I, sir.
A quick search revealed that auto-rotation issues on the Lenovo X1 Carbon Yoga in Linux are often related to the iio-sensor-proxy package, which handles sensor data for screen rotation. Users have reported that auto-rotation works in Xorg but not in Wayland.

Thanks, my research found the same. BL ships with both, correct? Do I have to pick something other than Openbox if I move to Wayland?

BL does not ship with Wayland support, though a plugin is in the pipeline.
And yes, the Wayland plugin will use labwc not openbox.

As a person that is fairly green on the Linux basics is there anything I can do to help? (Either getting it through the pipeline or testing once it is ready?)

^Yes, the Wayland plugin will be available soon and then we'll be appealing for everyone who's interested to try it out, so we can squeeze out all the bugs. ![]()
Your help is always welcome!
(Keep an eye on the forum, especially in the Development & Suggestions and Dev Discussions sections, for requests for testing and the like...)
