Thank you Dobbie03. I must have been away too long. The new complexities of Openbox, conky, tint2 have me overwhelmed. I've decided to migrate to i3 window manager. It was my favorite when using arch linux. At 73 years old it's not getting any easier.

Sway is wayland version of i3 if you are into this kind of things. I did some really basic sway setup a little while ago.
