Who is still running AL / used the installer recently?

Just out of idle interest

I am still running my  original AL installation as my daily driver with no probs whatsoever

I also have installed it on my 'messing around' lappy not too long ago and the installer still worked fine for me

so, who is still running AL / used the installer recently?

I haven't used it for a very long time.  I have been tempted to see if it still installs okay though.

I think that's the point. No one likes the Bee Gees.

Screw both of you, Barry Gibb is a God.

There will be no besmirching of the name Brothers Gibb. No sir, not on my watch. Disco rocks.

This is probably more Funk than Disco but this is all anyone needs when it comes to Disco

Thanks to the BGs I've been unable to listen to any dance music since when "Saturday Night Fever" came out.

However avant garde it might be, as soon as that bass-drum hi-hat kicks in I hear "you should be dancing..." and want to smash something.

Sorry Glitterslob, BG fans and disco-lovers.

The Bee Gees have ruined music for generations. Vocals alone are enough to qualify an extended period in prison.

I still have a least one archlabs running, Leigh. With hyprland, niri, mangowm maybe some others. This is an old install.

No reason why you shouldn't be able to modify it for you own needs and keep it going indefinitely

[EDIT]correction, at least 3 archlabs installs

Re: Who is still running AL / used the installer recently?

I am too traumatically scared from growing up in rural UK during the D.I.S.C.O. years to continue the BG's conversation

But taste is in the eye of the beholder

I see no conflict in knowing someone else loves it, and knowing that I hate it

Actually, I held a dark, dark secret for many, many years - I loved 'The Rivers of Babylon'
I know
I only years later got into The Harder They Come and realised the Melodians invented it, and IT WAS GOOD, and so I could shrug off my shame a go forth into the light.

@beaker, you muppet, I am now trying to work out which one you are. I know it - it just wont fall from the tip of my tongue

I think Leigh thinks you are an AL friend called Knob from the Discord. I'm unsure if you are one and the same myself.
