Hi everyone

Hi! It has been a long time since I last posted on a forum, but here I am.

I know this won't sound new, but because multiple Linux distros are dropping 32 bit releases, BunsenLabs seems to be the best option for my 32 bit machines. I do hope that you guys will keep 32 bit support into the future even if most other distros won't. It's also cool that the flame of CrunchBang is being kept lit because of projects like this.

Thanks to all the people who provide this OS as an option for users.

Re: Hi everyone

Hi Iain, welcome to the BunsenLabs community!

I'm afraid I have some bad news about 32 bit support. BunsenLabs is basically Debian, and from Trixie Debian have dropped 32 bit kernels and support for 32 bit systems in the installer. This pulls the plug on 32bit BunsenLabs too, so the last BL release to have a 32bit kernel and packages is the current Boron, based on Debian Bookworm.

We still need to make an official announcement, but BL Carbon, based on Debian Trixie, will have no 32 bit support.

The (Debian) kernel, installer and iso images will be gone
