Is there a version of BL without systemD?
Offline
BL is a collection of utilities that runs on top of standard Debian. Most are init-agnostic and ought to work on Devuan for example, but to get a complete BunsenLabs desktop working on a Debian-based system without systemd would probably need some effort on the user's part.

If you search this forum you will find some users who have played around with dropping those awesome Bunsen configs on top of a Devuan base, it's a worthy endeavor for sure.

FWIW... you might check MXLinux, antiX in addition to Devuan to see if anyone has done the work you seek.

Anyway I had a go at putting Bunsen on top of Devuan and it appears to have worked nicely, so I suppose you could add it to an existing Devuan install if you want.
