Graphical install - how to set mount point?

i don’t know if i can report a bug here - on the partitioning part, it was quite hard to define "Mount point (/)", when compared with Crunchbang or Ubuntu - i can't reproduce this behaviour, thanks if anyone can help there and confirm such bug

You mean in our customized Debian Installer? If you choose to partition manually, when you partition the drive there is a Mount menu entry (or something similar, on the same screen as Use As and Format) and just hitting Enter sets it to /

It is the impact of the operation of the installation are not familiar.
This I understand is not a bug.

However also exist Linux Mint Debian Edition of the installer to the current Debian.
The installer is approaching the operability of the Ubuntu, it has the advantage for some users.
It might be a good even if the consideration to adopt the installer future to the BunsenLabs.

but the current Debian installer is the installation procedure,
especially that very in low-memory environment suitable.
It is an important point from the CrunchBang era.

I can't see the problem myself. In the partitioning screen the first 2 options might be:

Use as:           Ext4 journaling file system
Mount point:      /

You might also see eg:

Use as:
Format the partition:   No, keep existing data
Mount point:   None

(The second 2 options appear after selecting a filesystem type)

Highlight any you want to change, press Enter to get a list of options.

The partitioning screens are exactly the same as was used by Crunchbang AFAICS

i can’t remember exactly what happened - what i can remember is that i had to go forth and back a lot of times until getting that "Mount point (/)" activated somehow - that was not easy to set at first, and happens on Crunchbang or Ubuntu - i don’t know if anyone can attempt to do a fresh install for confirming it, as soon i'll try to install it on another computer i’ll try to report the situation here better detailed

I just did. The partitioning screens were the same as they always have been. (Which is why I decided it wasn't a bug, but a user help issue)

BunsenLabs uses the Debian installer btw, as did Crunchbang. Ubuntu uses something completely different, using caspar and ubiquity iirc.
