We'll need to see some id.

AS I said to someone who ridiculously asked me for ID, approximately 5 years ago (I am in my mid-40's, early 40's then), I removed my cap and asked, "would a 17 year old have this hairline?". She realised her error the moment I removed my cap.
The sarcasm was heavy.
What an absolute plonker.
haha I laugh about it now.

Hey there lowrider....
I knew a bald 17 year old when I was a teen, but I get what you mean.
In your best Darth Vader voice you should have said: "I am your father!"

ID
But yeah, ID:ing people - but in the other direction:
There was a senior discount, and I asked if I should apply it to this person (wrinkles, kind-of old-looking). Got an angry "No!".
... it was a smoker. The kind with that "charming" grey-ish skintone. The variant that you can smell two meters away.
Since then, I try to assume people's age waaay less often.
as of 2025-Dec-11: Windows 11 ... || Still using TypeMatrix 2030 USB (blank) + "skin", Logitech Marble Mouse USB, Logitech B105, though.
One day I'll come back, to Bunsenlabs or/and Debian. I miss my Linux machine.

This is me for 3 hours every few days. I'm a weird smoker, maybe one with coffee in the morning, none all day, then chain smoke if I'm drinking at the end of the day.
