Error after running synaptic package manager

Could not upgrade the system!
Fix broken packages first.

When I tried to fix the broken packages from within synaptic I get the following messages

E: Error, pkgProblemResolver::Resolve generated breaks, this may be caused by held packages.
E: Unable to correct dependencies

Any advice on how to resolve this is most welcome.

Prior to running synaptic my system has been wonderfully stable for months.

Further to this - I attempted to resolve by doing the following and got the following result

sudo apt-get clean && sudo apt-get update

Sorry, try again.

Re: Error after running synaptic package manager

@johnnybgoodzm,

A recent upgrade to the bunsen-utilities package contained the error that is causing this. It's been fixed upstream, and will be fixed by a system upgrade as soon as we get the package rebuilt.

Thanks for the feedback, for your patience, and for running BunsenLabs!

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?
