Proper Procedure for GPG Key

What's the proper way to download the latest GPG Key (Boron - Debian 12 - 6.1.0-38)? Is there a point at which the currently installed key expires?

Or for new installation, do I obtain at github.com/BunsenLabs? I've even seen this instruction to download it directly -    gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-key

Recommended method?
