@hhh I was having the same issue with sources.list being empty. As an ongoing effort to switch mine to deb822 format I have the current workaround using preseed.cfg
It’s in the late config string. Kind of does the same thing my calamares config does as well.

^ Nice.
@micko01, that looks great! What's the music player (I love the Pacman icon)? Also, needs more disk drives.
The player is something I've been working on. Its a front-end to mpc/ mpd. https://codeberg.org/micko01/mpcg
I have an NVME drive with Carbon and Slackware current plus a 2TB HDD with a heap of partitions.
#!/bin/sh
echo '#include <stdio.h>\nvoid main() { printf("Hi, bunsenlabs\\n"); return; }' > bunsen.c
gcc bunsen.c -o bunsen
./bunsen

Hey, great! Thanks.
@micko01, neat, checking it out.

The pacman icon probably represents the consume mode of mpd I would say.

A Blast from the Past!
Hard to believe.
In 2007 I started using Linux and switched from Ubu to Xubu to #! in 2008, less than a year!
Debian 12 Beardog, SoxDog and still a Conky 1.9er

My first foray into Linux was Wubi on a Windows XP eMachine, I think it was Ubuntu Feisty Fawn, 2008. I must have bought the computer in '99 or 2000.

OMG.
I completely forgot about the WubiUEFI Installer.
I think I did the first 'fake' dual boot with Windows XP and Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx).
I quickly realized that I no longer needed Windows (XP), but I kept it until support ended.
I also didn't like Ubuntu and later installed Lubuntu (LXDE).
Then comes Xubuntu (XFCE), Linux Mint (CINNAMON and MATE)... all on the same HDD.
All environments worked great with my favorite WM Compiz except CINNAMON, which did not support it.
Yes, nostalgia.
If people would know how little brain is ruling the world, they would die of fear.

Ubuntu used to be very good in its early days. The 1st Linux distro which can auto detect and configure the hardware. It has changed how Linux desktop works.

So the player is developing. Have 3 player GUI now
the original
the one pictured
and a mini-player with just a bar for the controls and thumb for album art
#!/bin/sh
echo '#include <stdio.h>\nvoid main() { printf("Hi, bunsenlabs\\n"); return; }' > bunsen.c
gcc bunsen.c -o bunsen
./bunsen

^^^That looks amazing! And your choice of music is impeccable.
