It has nothing to do with the principality.
You can search for Lichtenstein in openstreetmap for Germany and you'll be surprised how many there are.

@PackRat... stark.

@you Teutons, not sure if you mentioned this Lichtenstein, but it looks freaking beautiful...

Is that the town they used in the original Willy Wonka movie (Gene Wilder) for the overhead shots when they blast off in the great glass elevator?

I wanted a bar showing some info, but not a bar that takes up valuable screen space. Conky to the rescue.

Re: June 2025 Screenshot Thread

Another iteration. I have managed to automate little things around KDE, like setting a global theme, compiling and installing icons theme, disabling theme sounds.

The more I am doing this, the more I feel like I should just switch to NixOS.

@Dobbie, when you sticky this thread you have to unsticky last month's! big_smile

Wayfire is far from perfect, and wf-panel even more so, but I'm really liking it. The animations put GNOME and KDE's defaults to shame.

Nice.

I think the "How To" is in the Mate forum; Wayfire is the recommended compositor to use with Mate desktop in Wayland.
