Any way to get the desktop working on ARM Debian?

I'm looking to get this going on an ARM VM... what steps would I need to do to do that?  I can get a Debian 12 ARM VM going quite easily but what steps would I need to take to get the desktop going on it.

I've installed this on a PC and love the desktop experience.

If you can install a basic Debian system with just a TTY login (ie, no graphical desktop at all) then you could use the BunsenLabs netinstall script to convert it:

Awesome, that sounds perfect. I'll give that a shot.

Just wanted to post that this worked like a champ. I was able to get this going in a VMware Fusion VM on ARM on my Mac.

Thank you for the help!
