If it ain't broke... old habits... insert coin for more adages... `lagunaseca` is dead, long live `lagunaseca`.

Hi all, it's been a while since I got to post here.  My old laptop finally died, so I managed to get my hands on an even older one that I'm sure will outlast any chain-store-special "Copilot" model.  Don't backseat drivers just suck?

Like many of you I find myself needing less chaos and more zen.  All hail the venerable T510, may she last me many years.

^I can top that with TP500.  tongue

It's very annoying how long it takes to start FF-ESR/other applications. It should actually be disposed of, but I can't get rid of it at the moment because of carbon.  wink

Thanks, guys. Yes, it's an old MacBook with Intel CPU and Nvidia card (you can tell from the screen resolution, 1200x800). I use it to play with new distros, software and configuration.

Cool!

Just resurrected a 2009 HP all-in-one for a nice little old lady, saved all her old files first which was a pain, 228 gigs of space taken up on the main partition and there was literally only 17 gigs of actual content.

I take a lot of joy in the moment before I hit the button to reformat, I call it the "G-de-parting".
