Thanks.

What are you using for monitor(s) these days?

And a link to that wallpaper, please.

Thanks!

I use a Philips 328B 32" 4K monitor.  Nothing fancy other than the 32" & 4k. It's pretty basic. Looking at upgrading in the near future. Just the one, the second one is currently in use with one of the boys on their Linux machine.

Not sure where I found the original wallpaper, but uploaded here.

Re: February 2025 Screenshot Thread

labwc-0.8.3 was released Friday and it has already landed in debian/unstable thanks to Birger Schatt (debian labwc maintiner). The big deal is that menu icons are now supported. I know this aint no jgmenu but at least the creator is the same! Thanks @malm big_smile

That is completely indistinguishable from tint2. Great work. Those icons look _so_ good.

My desktop only changes kernel & wallpaper:

As HoaS said, looks just like tint2.

Please don't lose the config!
Fingers crossed that it will still work on Trixie...

Re: February 2025 Screenshot Thread

I am migrating from Windows 10, choice for now is between OpenSUSE Leap and BunsenLabs. I will close round one of tests by installing Bunsen with btrfs to equalize the playing field and install most of the possibly brittle software I am planning to use, and move to round two.

Re: February 2025 Screenshot Thread

^ Maybe ImageMagick can help.

From my archive:

# resize image to height 250, keeping aspect ratio (quality 90)
convert -resize x250 original_image.jpeg -quality 90 resized_image.jpeg

# resize image to width 1000, keeping aspect ratio (quality 90)
convert -resize 1000x original_image.jpeg -quality 90 resized_image.jpeg

Thanks! I set it at 1920px and quality 100, that produced a 1920x1252px wallpaper.

If you want exactly 1920x1080, you can cut off the last 172px.
