Long time no see. Love that shade of blue.

Wow this looks very nice. I am still on x11 and i3 for a windowmanager and asking myself is debian stable ready for wayland and sway?

Going total monochrome with dwm?
You must unlearn what you have learned.

Yep, though I changed back to normal about 3 hours ago.

Thank you for the flowers.
The current stable is not suitable with Wayland.
That's why I recommend staying with i3. When Trixi becomes 'stable' it will certainly look better.
My screen should actually show the difference between fastfetch and neofetch(which is no longer maintained). The information from neofetch is therefore largely incorrect.

I'm guessing that is the latest master at the time because I have a Slackware-current VM (qemu) installed and the workspaces aren't working in xfce4-panel 4.20.3 with labwc 0.8.2 (on cosmic workspaces).
No problem when labwc-0.8.3 is released because Patrick Volkerding (slackware BDFL) will update within a day or 2. I'll post another slack/current/labwc/xfce4-panel shot then
#!/bin/sh
echo '#include <stdio.h>\nvoid main() { printf("Hi, bunsenlabs\\n"); return; }' > bunsen.c
gcc bunsen.c -o bunsen
./bunsen

Installed Boron, upgraded to trixie then added the Carbon repositories; went well, no errors:
The apt command has a fancy new interface and offered to rewrite my sources in the "new"[1] DEB822 format, which was nice.

I will stay on my old boring x11/i3 setup for now. Thank you.

^ Nice.
@HoaS, good news, thanks for testing! Honest thoughts on the (current and could change at any time) default wall/icon/gtk theme?
No, he can't sleep on the floor. What do you think I'm yelling for?!!!

i3 was never boring, as I remember from the threads in the ArchLabs forum. I've always tipped my hat to the users (including you) because I never installed it myself.

Love the icons & theme, it makes deadbang look prehistoric
The wall is very pretty with a very trendy tone (chocolate dials are all the rage in wristwatches atm) but there is a faint hint of banding across the colour transitions, which is always a problem for images with only 8 bits of colour depth. More importantly the conky text blends into the coloured bands of the wallpaper a bit too well, rendering the middle section illegible. Perhaps a colour tweak for the lettering is called for?
Anyway I'm a coward when it comes to shipping wallpapers — one tile to rule them all is the deadbang way...
EDIT: carbon fibre tiled over the desktop? Perhaps a proper bump map in Blender/Cycles with anisotropy: https://www.reddit.com/r/blender/commen … bon_fiber/

@HoaS, thanks for the feedback!
@Dobbie, I thought that quote was from Kansas (cue violin solo).
