I have used this guide for installing infinality fonts.
The article refers to Wheezy but works fine on Jessie.

I used a fork of the same Git repo to build deb packages, my #! post on it is here...

01) fog, awesome scrot in this new start.
02) hhh, keep weight always in check, cool.
03) Temetka, what? that sys info is too awesome for windows, damn, i am jealous.
04) gako still kicking...
05) Dobbie mate, with that fog backg adapted just fine for your musical tastes.
06) bronto, wonder that shadow bring any "HIGHER" issue with cpu? perhaps my desktop is too old for shadow, i have used different config early on #! only for border stuff. compton is good.
07) mrneilypops, dwmx clean as beauty north korean girl.
08) daggoth, something excellent different setup. Very nice.
09) Snap, wish Void please you.
10) nobody, oh that fabulous Aurora heavenly scenario.
12) easysid, ok, i'm super jealous for your config smile nice done man!
13) eight.bit.al, i realize that i'm still in the stone age monitor just by clicking your image.
14) lowrider, oh i used to love the Cinnamon hot corner stuff, my sister hated so much, she always blame me to turn it off, but i never turned off because i loved it. Anyway i'm not using anymore on my current OS because of WM.
15) Dobbie03, Sorry i do not have anything concrete , i'm stalled on GTK2 but if anything needed, DA is still a good place to check. Used to like that rainy thing, IIRC XFCE had one similar too.
16) hhh, put one of those themes you made early on #! to look sexXxy on dat Debian plain.
17) ceeslans, very nice conky, heh i used one of them myself year ago.

Sorry for the flood , have a great new year everyone...

^A bit of fluxbox is always refreshing.

@ Nili: Thanks, It does, it does...

A bit OT: @ HoaS: If you love OpenBSD minus the package management, you should give Void a try. Still Linux, but loads of BSD flavor, plus a dual package manager that beats the pants off BSD, IMHO.

Back OT:

Got the framebuffer colors working!

Hmmm, very interesting -- thanks!

I think I'll be re-installing Arch and attempting a UEFI dual-boot with OpenBSD because I want to try setting up a Xen hypervisor in Arch with Debian as a paravirtualised domU 8)

On topic: OpenBSD 5.9-beta running cwm:

screenFetch-2016-01-04_12-38-36.th.png

I know OpenBSD has an old-school panel in the base system [1] that I would really like to use with cwm (so I can have a desktop with no ports) but I can't remember what it's called...

You seem to have settled upon Arch, OpenBSD and Debian distro-wise -- but what about window managers? There is a variety of them coming by in your scrots (GNOME Shell, xmonad, cwm, openbox...). Which one is your favorite/main window manager? Just curious smile

At the moment, I seem to be stuck on xmonad (I prefer automatic tiling & compile-time configuration and I love xmobar) but I'm very fickle and I like trying new stuff smile

Are you still on a GNOME kick?

I don't think we've seen a scrot from you here.

That looks like a custom dzen2 panel with 9menu.

Yes, it does look like that but it is in fact a stand-alone panel -- I just can't remember what it's called and apropos(1) gives me nothing mad

Actually, your posts inspired me to try xmonad again and I'm loving it.

There's not much to see, really:

screenshotfrom2016-01-0415-51-33.png

screenshotfrom2016-01-0415-54-18.png

The ugly colors in the EWMH plugin for xmobar seem to be hardcoded. The plugin itself isn't documented, either. I happened to come across it while looking how to write plugins for xmobar. I might have a go at making it configurable.

I've been meaning to try OpenBSD, too. Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

The Arch forums don't do HowTos big_smile

Instructions here:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xen
https://wiki.debian.org/Xen

I'm just not sure which one to use as dom0, Arch is more flexible but Debian has Xen in the official repositories.

Choices, choices...
