Mutt Wizard Is Frustrating

So, I start with

mw -a my.email.address
Then, at the prompts I enter my email service provider's imap and smtp addresses.
Then I enter and reenter my password
Then a window pops up asking for my passphrase.  I enter the passphrase I used when creating the gpg key for my email account on neomutt.  And, no matter how I enter my passphrase it consistently fails. Why?

Solved the passphrase problem, turns out gpg doesn't like spaces in passphrases, but now log-in keeps being unsuccessful.
