Hi Everyone,
Iam experiencing a black screen after booting into my BunsenLabs Linux system. The boot process seems normal, but once I reach the login screen or attempt to start the desktop environment (Openbox), the screen goes black. I can hear system sounds, but nothing appears on the display.
Here are the details:
BunsenLabs Version: BunsenLabs Lithium 2024.
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GTX 1650.
Display Manager: LightDM
Steps I have Tried: Rebooting, switching to a different TTY, reinstalling graphics drivers, and checking logs.https://blackscreen.onl/
Log Files: Attach Xorg logs or any relevant system logs.
Has anyone encountered this issue before? I’d appreciate any suggestions on how to resolve this or where to look for potential fixes.

Honestly (and I'm certainly no expert here), but it sounds to me like this issue is graphics drivers related.
Linux and nVidia have always enjoyed a problematic (love/hate) relationship, just as ESX nVidia pass-through always has.
First thing I'd recommend is removing the nVidia drivers if you can, to see if that resolves it. Go native - if you get a display, then there you go.
Just a dude playing a dude, disguised as another dude...

Why have you installed BunsenLabs Lithium? (Which was released in 2020 btw, not 2024.)
Can you post the output of:
cat /etc/bunsen/bunsen_install
...elevator in the Brain Hotel, broken down but just as well...
( a boring Japan blog (currently paused), now on Bluesky, there's also some GitStuff )
