First, BIG fan of Bunsenlabs and this distro.
Yet I must admit it was becoming somewhat frustrating to login and not see any systray icons, and then try and pour over multiple autostart settings, drilling down for some syntax error related solution.
Turns out that after manually executing "bl-xdg-autostart" from within a Terminal window, xcfe4-power-management threw constant errors while trying to load icons that couldn't be found - perpetually hanging the processes of other systray icons from ever loading.
While I'm confident that a more seasoned expert may be able to reply with a much better (and perhaps more involved) path for resolution, a quick and easy solution is to simply disable the Appearance settings in Power Manager.
You may not have a battery indicator in the Systray anymore, but the rest of your icons should properly load on login and become available.
Hope this helps someone, if nothing more than perhaps as a quick fix for an annoyance.

Just a quick follow-up for us...
While a temporary fix, I was still noticing systray errors regarding Adwaita icons not being found.
I searched and did find an Adwaita folder, and so I tried this (creating a soft link) in a terminal:
cd /usr/share/icons
sudo ln -s Adwaita/ adwaita
All icons started showing up immediately, including Power Management when I re-enabled it.
Everything's working perfectly again - yay!
Hope this helps someone - and thanks to Bunsenlabs for hosting such an awesome forum!
