the removed wayland support is back in debian with conky 1.20.2.

@unklar OK Thank, I thought conky was dead in Wayland. So at least if I have to shift from X it will be there.

@unklar OK Thank, I thought conky was dead in Wayland. So at least if I have to shift from X it will be there.

Even for now Conky (even your beloved 1.9 version!) could run using Xwayland until the native Wayland version is complete and working, like a lot of those X11-based apps we all knew and loved.

@DeepDeazy, doubt because ' * old configuration syntax' doesn't work. At least not for me.

I'd even think for now, why not have both Wayland and X11 side by side so you can still have the best of both worlds?
