I'm not the richest kid on the block so this is a biggie for me at U$120.00.
I have a chance to get an: AMD Radeon RX 570 8GB DDR3
AMD Radeon RX 570 8GB DDR3
- link says DDR5 so not the same, cannot find the one offered on the net.
Also he says it's new, but that link says: Release Date: Apr 18th, 2017
I already have amdgpu driver installed because my onboard graphics card is AMD:

I don t think that you ll have any issues with this card @Sector11.
What s the condition of the card.
Might be an NOS for New Old Stock as old car parts.Your link s pretty good as for what there s to know with GPUs.
Here s a link ;
Shit, wrong link,

@Sector11, I don't know much in terms of your inxi output or if the card is compatible but I do know e-commerce, it's half our income and growing.
1. Do you physically know this person?
2. Their statement of being 'new' and your own research seems to me, differ.
3. Bargain, if you have a good feeling about the item, make a better deal. Often in the course of bargaining, you learn more about the seller and get a better understanding of the product. NEVER pay what they want because there's always the same product around the corner.
Just my two cents, good luck.

Yep, better safe than sorry, as @Zepher warned.
Is it from Amazon or something alike !, It would be best if bought from Amazon Argentina or brazil, I don t remember where you live sorry, you know these old fart things ! lol
I would buy from amazon, one can return it if it doean t work before 30 days, which is pretty cool.
Here s the site if in Brazil;
& I think that s it s the site in Argentina;

Make sure your PC's power supply is up to the job, this RX 570 shows a max power draw of 450W, if your box only has a modest spec PSU, you might find yourself with the additional expense of upgrading that also.
You're not going to be able to tell what your PSU is rated for using software, it's either look up your pc's spec if it was pre-built, look up your records if you built it yourself, or take the side off & look at the labelling on the PSU itself. Bear in mind also, cheap off-brand PSUs often can't actually deliver what the label claims, so you'll want some headroom after you account for that & the draw of your existing system components.

^ Yup, a power supply in any situation whether computer or an old car radio should be top of your list.

It's coming from a local shop that has worked on my rig for years.
I gave up doing my own work as there is just no room to do so here. Power supply is adequate (500W) and he will install the card. If it doesn't work he'll remove it and I don't pay.

Stopped by the shop on the way home today. It was such a good deal that the owner of the shop bought one for himself as well. His son, that works there as well, already has the same card but with only 4GB Memory.
And It is an RX570 8GB GDDR5 not the DDR3 he originally wrote.
So I'm good to go, tomorrow morning at 10am.

@Sector11, Happy for ya buddy. It's the best of all worlds when you physically know the seller and they'll also stand by the purchase one way or another. Good on you. Let us all know how it turns out.

Do you have 8GB system memory? Your video memory + system memory = 16.
But it's RAM math so it won't be "exact".
