I just realized that this color scheme is very close to what I did when I posted my first gnome-shell theme suite on DeviantArt in 2011 (bottom 2 scrots, sadly the other image links are dead). I called it "Executive". Lol.

^ Nice. Try adding...
[Settings]
gtk-application-prefer-dark-theme=1
... to ~/.config/gtk-4.0/settings.ini to see if you can that one rogue app (GNOME Calulator?) to go dark.

^ OR:
Any gtk application can be run with a theme of your choice.
Example:
$ GTK_THEME=Adwaita:dark gnome-calculator
It is enough to change the Exec line in the .desktop file.
EDIT
If you don't have the full theme, just the dark or light version:
Example:
$ GTK_THEME=Mcata-dark gnome-calculator

Didn't work, but that's ok since I use light gtk themes.

@darknetmatrix, love the Grudge macabre theme. Very cool. Having trouble with the link though.

^ nice. yaru-colors for the grey theme? Turkey for the wallpaper? How do you like GNOME (pros/cons)? This icon theme?...

Can't say I'm loving the panel icons. Looking kind of pixelated.

Gnome is pretty good so far. Haven't used it for years so a bit of a memory curve. Yes to Turkey wallpaper and the icon theme.

Using @hhh 's Yaru stuff unashamedly!
labwc+native_menu/sfwbar/wofi/lxterminal->fastfetch
Trying to get consistency of transparency - getting close.
(ignore the theme errors in fastfetch - wip)

Quite a while ago
JWM
A window manager for X11 written in C. This is perhaps the oldest project I still maintain (started in 2003).
and it works well with tint2, conky, jgmenu -
doesn't have the fine-grained control over window management like similar wm's (openbox, fluxbox. fvwm etc ...)
You must unlearn what you have learned.

I was curious about Openbox because of this, according to Wikipedia it was first released in 2002!
