I have used the script several times in the meantime for new installations or updates. It works reliably.

debian had updated the library 'libdisplay-info' from 1 to 2, but the system searches for 'libdisplay-info1' after login and therefore does not display a desktop.
The search took me 1 day...  tongue

After siduction stopped shipping my beloved LXDE because of missing man-power, I had to make do with xfce as base installation on this machine   wink

I'm in a bit of Primordial mood, so I made a rough wallpaper.

Also, I have been trying to improve audio quality as well, so I have been dicking around with Pipewire and Easyeffects.
