Re: July 2024 Screenshot Thread

^ Nice. Pro tip... if you hate the Krita splash screen like I do, copy the desktop file to ~/.local/share/applications and add --nosplash to the Exec line.

New wallpaper. Removed conky and Firefox. First time neither of those have been installed since I first started using Linux way back on Ubuntu 8.04.  Firefox I have used almost exclusively since FF Beta 1.

Though in all fairness, LibreWolf isn't that far removed from Firefox.

Mostly using a minimal GNOME desktop these last few weeks. I like not having a hodgepodged desktop environment.

Ha! No. But you know I haven't used BL as my main OS in years now. I enjoy customizing my own OS, it's no knock on BL. I mean, I'm on a heavily stripped out Ubuntu, obviously I'm doing my own thing.

Once again still stuck on this wall, I usually change backgrounds like clothes but this for some reason is pleasant to my eyes. A little change to colors in terminal but that's it. By the way, can anyone make an educated guess on what the artists interpretation of the plant is? At the very first, thought Magnolia but the flowers are wrong. Maybe Oleander?

^ Thanks In Advance.

How interesting. One of the early acronyms. Just 'googled' it and got no meaningful results.

Was quite the thing back in the day, to reduce bandwidth; so the thanks was offered with the request to save the need for a separate reply; and one less forum post to scroll past.

It's a nice color set for Boron. Thanks again.
