Applications not maintained

Hope this is the right section. In the screenshot section, I noticed a terminal application called neofetch and installed it but later read it is no longer maintained. My question is, is it still safe to use in bunsenlabs?

Re: Applications not maintained

It's safe.

It's just a bash script that does what it's supposed to do.

The author archived it because there isn't any reason to keep working on it. Project complete from his point of view.

@Zepher

I agree with @PackRat.

I use neofetch every time I start a terminal by adding to the end of the ~/.bashrc file:

# Start Neofetch
neofetch

Re: Applications not maintained

There's now a faster alternative called fastfetch: https://github.com/fastfetch-cli/fastfetch.
