Pleased to report upgrading to Boron was flawless under sysvinit.

Just followed @johnraff's excellent tutorial here
No issues to report. Even with a non-standard init & fasttrack repos to consider for virtualbox.

Most pleased with the user-setup script too, those diffs are extremely useful for tracking what I need to re-tweak after accepting new config files to see the changes.

Had more fun getting from Beryllium-Dev to Beryllium, lots & lots of errors from apt, until I finally noticed the thing had powered up with the date set to sometime in 2017 wasted a lot of time trying to figure out why apt was refusing to update & messing with things until I finally twigged

^Some work went into that user-setup script - with help from @malm - and it's good to hear it was useful. smile
