Came across this just now, a Wayland replacement for nitrogen that is a frontend for feh (or swaybg) called Waypaper...

I didn't look for an icon and create a desktop launcher for it as I'm going to uninstall it now, I don't need it, but let's keep this in mind for BL's future Wayland days.

^ BTW, pipx is awesome. I guess it's because the waypaper dev has his stuff together, but...

pipx install waypaper

... installed the binary AND a man page, and...

pipx uninstall waypaper

... removed them both in a split second.

-edit- It actually came out OK, ha! I just wish I could have switched the primary tiled window with one of the others once. All keyboard, no mouse.

Trying out Kora, This modern icons package is on the top 3 rating at store.kde as one of the most voted.
bikass/author have been worked hard to adapt it for Plasma 6 changes, and the result has turned out quite well so far.
