autohide when windows are maximized

I would like to have my tint2 autohide when the windows are maximized. I have been trying to find a solution myself, but have gotten the panel to autohide all the time. Is there a way to only hide when windows are maximized?

You can try:

panel_layer = bottom

and/or

strut_policy = none

It won't autohide the panel, but maximized windows should cover it.
