connects to wifi but no internet [solved]

I have an old d620, it have always worked out of the box.

But afterinstalling Boron I am seeing the wifi connections and able to connect but no internet.

Has something changed?

Its a broadcom wifi.

With the kind and generous help of the Antix forum I got this solved. I have confirmed that it works on bunsel as well.

sudo rfkill unblock all
sudo apt purge firmware-b43-installer
sudo apt update
sudo apt install firmware-b43-installer
sudo apt reinstall firmware-b43-installer
sudo modprobe -r b43
sudo modprobe b43

For anyone getting the same problem
