that command only runs normally firefox

Yes but the error messages should now be in English so that I can understand what they say and also get a meaningful result from a search engine wink

this is what came out

aleex@bunsenlabs-linux:~$ LC_ALL=C firefox
Vector smash protection is enabled.
Failed to open VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Thank you!

Entering this line into a search engine gives this link at the top of the list:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour … ug/1300215

Try starting Firefox with:

VDPAU_DRIVER=va_gl firefox

EDIT: Actually, I think that's a different problem, sorry.
:8

As you may be able to tell, I don't really know what's going on here.
sad

Perhaps @ohnonot will have some better suggestions.

Re: navigator buttons disappear

HoaS, why do you think the bug reprot does not help?
sounds like op's problem:

...libvdpau_nvidia.so which was all the more mysterious since I do not own NVIDIA hardware

in any case, aleex5, please try this.
but it's a shot in the dark twilight...

I am testing your solution, hopefully work

UPDATE: Problem Solved

the solution was to delete the folder are where the settings ".mozilla"
coming into "about: config" and changing "gfx.xrender.enabled" to false
thank you all for the help

PD: what I find strange is that I never had these mistakes because I use firefox always, I've only had this problem in based debian distributions
