It works out well too. You can use the xfce4 keybindings to control bspwm so that's handy. That is kitty terminal in the screenshot. Using xfce4-terminal or xterm would save a bit of memory.

Main downside is bspwm does not support iconify so you lose some taskbar functionality. If you must have iconify, you can use awesome wm instead of bspwm.

Everything worked out of the box. Including the keyboard for this Toshiba which is usually problematic.
