newest version beryllium does not have google-chrome [SOVLED]

Hi all:

I just installed the newest version of beryllium and was trying to do sudo apt-get install google-chrome-stable and opera but it says there was none to be installed.

Does the newest version of bunsenlab not come with google chrome and opera?

BunsenLabs uses Debian packages, Debian doesn't have that package. Download the Ubuntu/Debian deb package (64-bit only) from here...

https://www.google.com/chrome/

Same with Opera, find it here...

https://www.opera.com/

I don't care what you do at home. Would you care to explain?

Great! Thanks. Are we now still using Debian buster?

Debian 12 Bookworm: stable   (or latest dev)
Debian 11 Bullseye: stable   (or latest dev)
Debian 10 Buster: stable   (or latest dev)

You can install Boron, based on bookworm, here...

https://forums.bunsenlabs.org/viewtopic.php?id=8714

It's not the "Official Release" because we're still tweaking our themes, icons and some scripts, but it's perfectly stable and usable, and upgrades to our packages will be available via apt/apt-get/aptitude when the packages are ready.

If you want to dist-upgrade to Boron/bookworm instead of doing a fresh install, there are instructions here...
