Re: August 2023 Screenshots

Lol, didn't notice the penguin first time! Adorable. I'd pull the contrast higher on that conky clock, though. I know you're matching the desktop logo, but it's really hard to read. Make inactive text like 10 or 15 percent opacity. The extra "color" will look fine overall.

And I hope you got to a power outlet or saved your files at this point if you had work going on. big_smile

Ough, I'm salivating. Maybe I should configure dwm for my own setup, something familiar to BL. Is the font you're using Fira Code, or something else? It looks so cozy, but with just enough playful character.

DejaVu Markup ( https://fontlibrary.org/en/search?query=DejaVu+Markup )

That's the font for the system info on the bar; you can see the settings I use in the config.h file in the dual monitor setup screenshot.

For the terminal, Fira Code, style  = retina.

^ Nice, mystery solved.

Um, yes? Of course yes, Nala, in this case, just asked a rhetorical question. Better safe than sorry, good apt.

This is the cool thing about Linux. Getting good-natured crap flung at you for flexing online! Is there even a Win 11 scrot thread anywhere except maybe here?

I'm not even being sarcastic, I know both John and Pack are having a chuckle at my comment.

Apparently.

The terminal is alacrity, fire code font. I'll have to look at that again later today. I don't remember if I did the move and resize after launching the man page.

Edit - resizing (faux tiling) alacritty after launching the man page messed up the formatting.

Did a quick test with lxterminal and urxvt on openbox, displaying 'man openbox'. In both cases, expanding the window left the man text as it was, with empty space around, while reducing the window gave the same messy newlines you had. To properly refill the window the man had to be closed and re-opened. (That's the behaviour of 'less' I guess.)
