Emergency help needed: No mouse input, but keyboard works [RESOLVED]

Hi! I'm applying for a job and cannot refresh this page that I'm working on or else my entire application will be lost and I'll be SOL. I made the mistake of trying to run too many things at once and the screen locked up, so I did the thing I usually do on Linux and hit control+alt+F2 to get to tty2, use top to kill the unresponsive programs, and then come back to the default screen (which I think was tty7). It works well, except that it refuses to accept any mouse input whatsoever. I can move the cursor on the screen, and I'm able to launch programs using the default bunsenlabs bindings, but no amount of clicking in any part of the screen on any programs whatsoever works. Neither left nor right click will register any change at all. Scrolling seems to also be broken. I'm currently writing this after turning on Keyboard Browsing in Firefox with F7, but this is a temporary fix and I cannot finish my application without clicking on a button that this mode seems unable to recognize. What can I do? I'm able to get terminal up and running commands, if y'all can help me I'm begging you.

Test to unload and reload psmouse.

In terminal (not tty):

& sudo modprobe -r psmouse
& sudo modprobe psmouse

No change after trying to run the modprobe for psmouse.

I should also mention, the mouse cursor itself doesn't change when mousing over stuff like text. Don't know if that helps, but I thought it might.

Never mind. I just went ahead and rebooted. Here's hoping the referral link still works.
