Another page on the calendar flips, and there was much rejoicing!
*weak, despondent cheers*
Post your screenshots here, all operating systems, desktop managers, window managers, etc... are welcome!
We do have a thumbnail rule, no full size images please. Use your favorite image host. We like imgur because it plays nice with xfce4-screenshooter, installed by default on BunsenLabs.
Cheers, and thanks for your continued use of the BunsenLabs forums!

Which image viewer are you using?
The application in the screenshot, not the file sharing.

That's GNOME Image Viewer (Eye of GNOME), it's not bad at all...

I'm using the Ubuntu Lunar package here (v. 44.0), I've successfully installed a BunsenLabs Openbox desktop session on my Ubuntu partition and it's my new default environment and OS. Completely in love with the BL OB helper utilities, including BLOB for the win! Had to bypass /etc/xdg/autostart (thank you bl-autostart, just comment one line out), and I'm using gdm3 and gnome-screensaver for login/screen lock. Idle ram is half a gig on my 4 gig laptop, half of what GNOME uses on this box.

That's using the picom.conf I just uploaded, isn't it? What do you think? I think it looks great!

Basically, yes. It's @Dobbi config with some minor tweaks.
I snatched it shortly after you were talking rounded corners.

^ I must have hit similar drop shadow settings by chance. Great minds... drink alike?
My stripped out GNOME session is using ~850 MB RAM idling (just running a music stream via audacious) compared to ~600 for my BL session running the same music player. If I started Bluetooth by default in the BL session, the RAM would be ~700, not much less than my GNOME session. It's not the DE that sucks up RAM per se, it's all the applets and compositing and services one wants for convenience that add up, no matter what WM/DE you use. GNOME and KDE just activate all the services OOTB.

Something whacked with postimage on my end. Comcast might be out digging up the streets again. I'll fix those later this evening when I have some time.

GNOME 44.0 on Ubuntu serving up some solid dual-monitor configs and the Wayland scrot tool to capture it. Spanned wallpaper via GNOME Tweaks and Always Rounded extension to both set 4-corner rounding and Mutter border width...
