[Solved] I can't copy-paste commands on my terminal

Hi,
It seems that I can't copy-paste any command on the bunsenlabs terminal.
If I try to copy a command from a text file, or from my browser, I only get a white line.
Do I need to install another terminal to use this basic feature?

Thanks

No. Default terminal in BL i386 is urxvt.
Urxvt suports Alt+Ctrl+c/Alt+Ctrl+v for copy/paste.

You can also install terminal that out of the box support copy/paste, with the mouse, like lxterminal.

Lxterminal is default terminal in 64 bit BL.

Re: [Solved] I can't copy-paste commands on my terminal

I see this by running neofetch:

shell: bash 5.1.4
Terminal: x-terminal-emul

I don't know how to configure it to support copy paste text. So I installed Lxterminal and it does what I wanted.
Thanks

The "x-terminal-emulator" is a symbolic link to prefered terminal. You can edit prefered Debian alternatives with "galternatives" (On the menu => System => Edit Debian Alternatives). See more on https://wiki.debian.org/DebianAlternatives.

I don't know how to configure it to support copy paste text.

Sorry, I noticed that I gave unnecessary information, with broken link, edited my answer, while you apparently where writing your answer...

So I installed Lxterminal and it does what I wanted.

I mark the thread [Solved] (Editing your first post, adding [Solved] to the subject line. You can do that yourself next time the forum helps you with a question.

I noticed that you cannot paste into terminal with keyboard CTRL-V command, you have to click right mouse button and "paste".

In LXterminal, you can copy/paste with Ctrl+Shift+c/Ctrl+Shift+v or use the mouse.
