no sound on headphone

Hello,

I installed BL lithium on a laptop Lenovo E530.

I get sound on the internal loudspeakers.
But nothing through the headphone output.

Can you help me?

Why the old release?
BL Lithium is based on Debian Buster and has much earlier software for handling things like headphones than more recent releases.

Can you help me?

It is hard to help as you give so little information.

Have you tested sound in live session? Does it work then?
In the mixer, have you chosen "port: Headphones"?
Have you checked the headphons connectoed to other device?

The headphone is ok (it works on the other laptop).I made a test with a knoppix: no sound.

Have you tried BunsenLabs live session?

How to launch audio mixer?

In "Introduction to the Bunsenlabs Lithium Desktop", under heading "Tint2 panel":
"Tint2 panel [...] includes [...] an audio mixer"

So, leftclick on the Speaker icon in the systray and choose "Mixer", will bring upp the mixer.
