qbittorrent

Good afternoon, I started having problems with the qbittorrent application, it opens and closes immediately without giving me a chance to do anything. I uninstalled it completely and installed it again but the problem persists. What can I do to solve this problem?

Try calling it from a terminal so you may get error messages that might help.

Have you tried to rename your configfiles (~/.local/share/qBittorrent.bak) and start up qbittorrent?

Do you have other qt or python3 applications, that crashes?
If you search in the net, for your error, you will get som answers, that might not help you to solve your poroblem...

You have default BunsenLabs installation (Beryllium with Debian Buster)?
Is there a special reason you are using a qt5 application?
If not, you could work around the problem with installing a gtk-application like transmission-gtk, instead.

Btw, it's kinder to those trying to help you, to copy/paste the error message from the terminal, instead of upload a picture of the terminal...

Is the qbittorrent connected? If you add a wellknown torrent like https://ddl.bunsenlabs.org/ddl/berylliu … so.torrent, does that neither gets downloaded?

I have downloaded the torrent that you gave me an ISO from bunsenlabs. and it downloads any torrent that I download with firefox, Vivaldi, Opera...but it does not download anything when I use the search engine that Qbittorrent brings.
