^ Nice:) Glad it worked out. Look in config/package-lists/my.list.chroot to add or remove packages.

^Um... that's what I did to customize the build. Removed a pile of firmware, apps. more.

A minimal BunsenLabs XFCE desktop...
I'm running xfce4-session and xfsettingsd but I've disabled xfdesktop4 and am using jgmenu instead of xfce's menu (it all appears in jgmenu under "Applications" anyway). As the conky shows, the desktop is still really light on RAM.
Other differences from the BL desktop... xfce4-panel instead of tint2, the panel's pulseaudio plugin instead of pnmixer, xfwm4 (with the titlebar and borders removed) instead of openbox and their compositor instead of picom. It took about 30 minutes for me to set it up, but I've used XFCE a lot in the past. Anyway, some quirks but loving it!

^ Nice.
That gtk theme one of yours?

Yes, I need to upload it. Forget to mention, lightdm is setting the wall since xfdesktop is disabled. I still get the seamless login with conky and the panel popping in, I love that.

Thanks, kind folk! The bronze is derived from the land mass on the horizon in that wall.
I knew I was forgetting another difference, no bl-exit since xfce4-session has it's own logout.

Hasn't changed much...
Still ArchLinux/openbox/tint2, and my revamped Conkys (now more lua).
Nice and would be nice if Conky supported Python as that be easier to create useful scripts.

But lua focuses much more on being lightweight & minimalistic, the interpreter is only 200kB or so and can be embedded into other software.
That said it is possible to create things that look and behave very much like conky, with python.

Building MassOS ~7 hours total.

About 2 hours in, stage 2.
This is just neat:) 7 hours? How did it go? It looks like they do releases every two weeks to keep things updated.

^ Nice. I've been playing with that wall as well...
Still tweaking it, though.
-edit- Same theme, I'm messing with bitmap tracing in Inkscape again for the wall. This is a manipualtion/vectorization of the cover to Beck's album from last year (2 years ago? Hyperspace)...
I've uploaded the wall here...
