Please consider to include include the mtools & exfatprogs packages.

Wasn't sure where to post this, here.. for Boron, or to file a bugreport because they're missing in Li too.

The thing is without mtools & exfatprogs the ability of gparted to fully handle fat32 or do anything much  with exfat is broken.  They're really common filesystems on external media.

I'm thinking they should maybe be in the metapackage depends & the upcoming live session if we want gparted to be fully useful there.

Yes I've only just noticed it, sorry to be mentioning it so late.

Neither are big packages, neither pull in any other packages when installed without recommends, & neither require any manual config to get the functionality, just to be installed on the system.  Yes they're only an apt-get away, but for the live session in particular you can't always rely on a network connection, & update/upgrade first can get messy as the live image gets older.

If there's an obscure or silly way to break it, but you don't know what.. Just ask me

Re: Please consider to include include the mtools & exfatprogs packages.

exfatprogs is new for Bullseye, so cannot go in Lithium.
mtools I don't think we were aware of, though it's been around a while.

Neither has any deps beyond libc6, so sure let's throw them in for Beryllium. Easily done.

And thanks!
