Yes! Sickness has unfortunately delayed the launch of the beta iso.

Is the delay anticipated to be short, long or permanent?
If I am using the testing version built on a Debian 11 net install base, what am I missing compared to the final official release?

In terms of things you'll actually notice in day-to-day use, you're probably not missing much besides whatever the theming turns out to be.  At least judging by what was true round the Lithium release.

What @B_B says is correct. Only the theming has yet to be upgraded.
